Providence Training Clinics Will Not Be Held

Today, Providence and Kaiser Permanente sent the following message to those who had signed up for the Bloomsday Training Clinic:

Dear Bloomsday Training Clinic Participant,

We have been closely monitoring the changing news about COVID-19 novel coronavirus and social distancing recommendations from public health organizations.

Based on our commitment to caring for our community’s health, Providence Health Care and Kaiser Permanente have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Bloomsday Training Clinics set to begin Saturday, March 14.

At this time, the 2020 Lilac Bloomsday Run on May 3 is scheduled as planned.

The planning team for the training clinics has looked at all options and met several times to ensure the best course of action. 

Since 1978, the Bloomsday Training Clinic program has been offered at no cost to the public, and we look forward to hosting it next year.

We appreciate your understanding, and for supporting efforts to protect the health of our community.
