Bloomsday 2022 Finisher Shirt Design Contest presented by Washington Trust Bank

The Lilac Bloomsday Association is now accepting designs for the 2022 Bloomsday Finisher T-shirt. The deadline for submitting designs is Friday, September 17, 2021, and the Lilac Bloomsday Association will pay $1,000 for the winning design selected. Entries may be submitted in-person at the Bloomsday office located at 1414 N. Belt St., Spokane, WA.
The design can have up to 6 colors. The words Lilac Bloomsday Run (or Bloomsday), Spokane, Washington, 2022 (or ’22), and Finisher must be incorporated into the design. Please note: The design winner will work with Bloomsday in adapting their design to the color of the finisher shirt. When submitting your design, you may suggest a T-shirt color. Design must also transfer well in the screen printing process.
Design(s) MUST be mailed or delivered by Friday, September 17th to Lilac Bloomsday Association, 1414 N. Belt St., Spokane, WA 99201. Please note the following:
- Designs should be no larger than 13 inches high and 11 inches wide.
- Artist’s name, postal address, email address and phone number MUST be on the back of each design.
- Please do not submit PDFs or other electronic files. All submitted designs should be provided in as polished a HARD COPY form as possible.
- Artwork cannot be returned.
- Multiple designs can be submitted.
The artist of the design selected for the 2022 finisher shirt will be notified in early November. Please note that because of Bloomsday’s tradition of not revealing the T-shirt color or design ahead of time, the winner will not be able to reveal that his/her design has been selected. This is Spokane’s best kept secret. Failure to observe this provision will result in forfeiture of all money paid, or to be paid, to the artist by the Lilac Bloomsday Association.
