Spokane, WA— Bloomsday returns to the streets of downtown Spokane for its 46th running.

There’s no better time to sign up for Bloomsday.  Race entry is $35 if you register by April 28th.   The race entry goes up to $50 on April 29th through Bloomsday weekend.

Registration is online at www.bloomsdayrun.org

Race day is Sunday, May 1.   This will be the 46th running of Bloomsday and the first time that Bloomsday has been run with its traditional start on Riverside and iconic finish on the Monroe Street Bridge since 2019.   Race volunteers will distribute finisher shirts immediately following the race.   The design and color of the finisher shirt is one of Spokane’s most guarded secrets.  The first shirt emerges when the starter’s pistol fires on race morning.

Race t-shirts, GO BLOOMIES! banners and yard signs have begun popping up around town which is the tell-tale sign of spring and the approach of Bloomsday.

Bloomsday is Spokane’s annual run/walk that features a rolling 12km course through Spokane’s neighborhoods.  At the 5-mile mark is one of Spokane’s most famous hills - - nicknamed Doomsday because of its climb.

Bloomsday will once again have its tradeshow in the Spokane Convention Center featuring vendors selling the latest running apparel, shoes, and health products.   The Bloomsday course will also provide plenty of entertainment as dozens of bands will line the course and provide upbeat music to keep the crowds moving and smiling.
